We are pleased to announce the second part of the AECP-CHLA 18th International Conference – dedicated to neonatology and general pediatrics (including endocrinology and cardiology). It will start on February 15 and will continue till February 18 of 2021 through a series of online events - free for participants from all over the world.

The Conference is organized by The Armenian EyeCare Project (AECP) and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) in collaboration with the Ministry of Health of Armenia, World Diabetes Foundation, and a number of medical associations of Armenia.

Due to the pandemics, the conference will be held online, which will give an opportunity to enlarge the geography and number of conference speakers and participants. The topics of the international conference have also been enlarged – including pediatrics and cardiology for the first time.

Each day of the Conference will be devoted to one subspecialty – general pediatrics (February 15), neonatology (February 16), pediatric endocrinology (February 17) and pediatric cardiology (February 18). We are honored to have as Conference speakers, lecturers from Armenia, as well as from the best universities and hospitals of the USA. At the closure of each conference day, there will be run a sub-specialty discussion session facilitated both by local and guest speakers.

According to the order of the Minister of Health of Armenia, the participants who attend the whole program of the 4-day event will get 13 CME credits.

All materials and lectures of the 1st part of the conference on ophthalmology are already stored on the AECP-CHLA Online Pediatric Educational Network - OPEN and are available for free access. The platform will store the neonatology and pediatrics topics as well - upon completion of the conference. This will give a unique self-education opportunity to physicians and healthcare providers.
