“My vision started to worsen when I was eight years old, - Armen said, - doctors explained me, that I had a progressive eye disease that would cause a "tunnel" vision.” Later on doctors detected a central cataract in Armen’s eyes also, that would result in total loss of vision.
“Years ago thanks to the AECP my mother recovered her vision. Now it is my turn, - Armen said before the surgery on the Mobile Eye Hospital. - I am so grateful to the donors who help people in need. Thanks to this surgery I will be able to do my job better and to have great achievements.”

Our mission is eliminating
preventable blindness and
making eye care accessible to
all people in Armenia.
